Terms of Use (EULA)

This document constitutes the End User License Agreement (EULA) for Pachirin (the "Software"), a Windows screenshot and screen recording tool provided by techikoma (the "Developer"). By installing, downloading, or using the Software, You agree to be bound by all of the terms of this Agreement.

1. License

The Developer grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software free of charge. All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Software remain with the Developer.

2. Permitted Use

  • You may use the Software for both personal and commercial purposes (including business use).
  • You may install the Software on multiple devices that You own or control.
  • If You obtained the Software through the Microsoft Store, the Microsoft Store Terms of Use also apply.

3. Restrictions

You shall not do any of the following with respect to the Software:

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software (except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law).
  • Redistribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software or any copies thereof.
  • Use the Software for any illegal activity, to infringe the rights of third parties, or in a manner contrary to public order and morals.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. All warranties are disclaimed, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software (including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits). This limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. SLA & Support

The Software is an individual development project, and no service level agreement (SLA) or support is provided. Bug reports and feature requests may be submitted through the contact form, but no guarantee is made regarding response times or fixes.

7. Data Handling

  • The Software does not communicate externally and does not transmit user data to any third party.
  • For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
  • All screenshots, videos, edited data, and settings created by You are stored on Your PC. You are responsible for backing up Your data.

8. Third-Party Software

The Software incorporates certain open-source libraries. Each such library is distributed under its respective original license.

9. Termination

If You breach any term of this Agreement, the Developer reserves the right to terminate this Agreement without notice. Upon termination, You must cease use of the Software and delete all copies.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
